Julie Cookson

My name is Julie Cookson and am currently a deputy manager at Sphere care solutions.  I am currently working towards completing my level 5 qualification and aspire to become a registered manager for one of Sphere Cares homes in the near future.  I have over 30 years’ experience of working with young people covering a variety of different ages, backgrounds and abilities.  I have experience of working with those with learning difficulties in both education and residential settings and have undertaken training specific to Autistic spectrum disorder completing training on Autism Awareness, communication, PECS, social stories and behaviours that challenge. More recently I have had experience in working with young people who have experienced trauma and completed PACE training to provide therapeutic support.  I am particularly passionate about each young person a voice and become a huge part of their care and care plans and achieve the best outcomes for all.
